Do we need to buy a ticket?
All our events are ticketed and can be purchased via the ticketing page.
Click on the BUY TICKET button on any event listing to go to the ticketing platform and for more information.
What time do events start and finish?

Is the event accessible if I have special needs?
We strive to make this event as accessible as possible. If you wish to confirm specific access details, please get in touch with us via our contact page.
Will there be food available?
Food will be available for the duration of the Grand Tasting from a range of food vendors.
A bar menu with hot food & snacks will be available at Bubbles and Beats.
To confirm other food options, click on the BUY TICKETS button and check the details for each event.
Some events include food. When booking one of these events please include any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Is the event pet friendly?
Generally pets are not permitted. Please contact us for specific information regarding guide dogs and support animals.
How do I get to the events?
Bus transfers are available to book at various times to suit your schedule.
Tickets are priced at $12 + BF per way with bus stops located at Dan Murphy's Launceston and Josef Chromy Wines.
Confirmation of your bus booking will be requested before boarding.
Guests attending activities at venues other than Josef Chromy Wines are required to source their own transport.
Limited parking is available at event sites - check specific event information for more details.
Can children attend?
Effervescence is designed for over 18s, however kid friendly food and beverage options will be available during the Grand Tasting.
Entry for the Grand Tasting is $45 + BF per person, no concessions are available.
Proof of age may be requested at point of service for all listed events.
Effervescence Tasmania is a RSA committed event.
What happens if it rains?
All events will proceed regardless of weather conditions, unless the organisers deem the conditions unsafe.
What can we bring with us?
BYO food and beverage is not permitted. Security and bag checks will be active at the events.
General seating and shade cover is provided but you are welcome to bring picnic rugs, folding chairs and pillows. As with many are outdoor events, please bring your own sunscreen.
Masks are not required, and hand sanitiser will be available on site.
WHERE CAN WE STAY?
Josef Chromy does not have accommodation onsite, however there are plenty of great options available nearby (approx. 15-20 minutes via car).
